Polish interdisciplinary artist, theater creator, performer, writer, theorist. Founder of Teatr Sytuacji[Theater of Situations], where he develops the language of nonverbal visual communication by staging his own performances. He boldly and creatively uses the image of the human body, incorporating it into elaborate objects and machines or examining its anatomical complexity in various ways. He creates art that has a strong impact on the viewer, tackling difficult and often dark themes like death, suffering, sexuality, madness, and religion. The language of his images is universal, even archetypal, hence the many references to tradition, interpreted in new and surprising ways.
